We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!
If you’ve already completed your First Visit paperwork, great. If not, after doing so, you’ll meet Dr. Chris Muller for your consultation and assessment. Plan for 30 minutes for your First Visit if you bring your paperwork completed with you. You may download our forms right here from this site! If you need to fill in your health history paperwork in our office, allow yourself an additional 10 minutes, so come early! Your health is important to us! We want to take the time we need during your First Visit.
We seek to answer all of your questions and concerns and to provide with health care solutions that work for you!
The purpose of our initial consultation is we can get to know each other and determine if we can help.During a brief conversation and review of your health history, we try to determine if you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care.
If we don’t think we can help, we’ll tell you and direct you to an appropriate healthcare provider. If we think we can help, and you agree, we can usually proceed to the next step, which is a thorough chiropractic assessment. Our clients appreciate the fact that we explain everything in advance.
Our assessment might be different than some other health practitioners you have visited. Our goal is to determine what areas of your spine and nervous system are involved and related to your health challenges. We achieve this by a bilateral weight scale analysis, a postural assessment, orthopedic and neurological tests, range of motion evaluations, leg length analysis, and motion/static palpation. After we study your health history and correlate our assessment findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health.
Please call our Stellenbosch office to arrange a time so that we may meet you and discuss your particular health issue.
Our bodies are exposed to repetitive strain on a daily basis. This includes prolonged sitting, driving, not enough exercise, too much exercise, degeneration and old injuries, bad posture and the list goes on. The body can usually function under a lot of stress until it eventually break down in the form of illness or injury. These conditions can be minimized through specific lifestyle changes and periodic visits to check the integrity of your spine before injuries occur.
We offer our paperwork online so you can complete it in the convenience of your own home.
Health History: This lets us know what’s happened, but perhaps more important, where do you want to take your health?
